We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Associate to join our team.
The Associate will be responsible for managing the procurement process efficiently and effectively to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine their procurement needs and requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee the contract management process to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement management, systems, and supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and logistics.
- Ability to fabricate effective supply chain solutions.
- Experience in supplier management and contract administration.
