Lead use of tools and CMMS systems for maintenance team with respect to Spare Parts, Purchasing, Contracting, and KPI monitoring to drive and manage activities for operation stability and improvements.
Assures facilities and support equipment are maintained and updated properly.
Monitors and ensures that all facilities are being maintained properly.
Monitors checks of air compressors, boilers, chillers, atmosphere generators, electrical power supplies, air supplies and subsequent plumbing, water supply (both water plant and city water).
Sets, monitors, and adjusts facility preventative maintenance tasks and frequencies with the objective of maximizing uptime and minimizing unplanned downtime.
Controls and manages utility consumption.
Selects proper sources for utilities.
Monitors utility usage and ensures that utility consumption is being managed properly, minimizing waste.
Continuously monitors equipment to insure proper operation at the least levels of energy consumption.
Coordinates project work.
Provides requests and justification for capital expenditures needed to properly maintain the facility and plant support equipment.
Selects and manages contractors used to perform such project work.
Prepares parts kits for major planned maintenance projects.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor with ensuring materials are available for planned work assignments.
Provide a parts list with reference numbers and exact location for every work order and ensure that all required parts are in stock before job scheduling.
Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability and maintenance department performance.
Coordinate parts, labor and timing with plant and contractors for individual equipment overhauls and Rebuild schedules.
Manages the purchasing of stock materials associated with maintenance, repair, and operations, such as pneumatic cylinders, sensors, bearings, filtration, sub-assemblies, supplies, equipment, and services at the most favorable cost and at terms consistent with providing superior service to internal customers.
Performs all Duties in accordance with safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.
Education:
Associates Degree or applicable experience
Experience:
5 to 10 years industrial maintenance
Experience:
electrical and mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting skills; project management skills; computer skills.
